RemodelWest has recently made a donation to the Lynbrook High School ASB and more specifically the Baseball Program. Bill Reid, owner of RemodelWest and previous coach of Lynbrook Baseball understands the importance of these sports programs. In a letter from Lynbrook High School, they thank RemodelWest for their generous donation and provide a brief description about what the donation is used for, “Your donation will help our Frosh/Soph and Varsity baseball teams continue to thrive during this economic climate and statewide budget cuts to after-school sports. Your contribution will help us maintain our equipment, uniforms, and field so that our players can continue to have pride wearing their Lynbrook jerseys.” RemodelWest is proud to be contributing to such a great cause benefitting not only the members of the Lynbrook Vikings Baseball Team, but also the community it belongs to. On a more personal note, Mr. Reid has been an active part of the baseball leagues in his community for over 15 years. He has volunteered as Head Coach for both of his son’s teams throughout their Little League careers, but Bill didn’t stop there. During High School, both Bill’s sons attended Lynbrook and each were a member of the Baseball Team for the duration of their high school career.  During this time, Bill could be found in the dugout or on the baseline coaching his sons and their teammates. Because of Bill’s active participation during his son’s baseball careers, he agrees with the thank you letter from Lynbrook that says “Being a part of a team reinforces the importance of teamwork, communication, and commitment to our players. These life skills are invaluable, as they become young adults” and he was honored to make a contribution to Lynbrook Vikings Baseball Team.
