We had an excellent experience working with RemodelWest on the design and construction of a major kitchen remodel in Los Altos. We really appreciated the thorough design process. Unlike some companies that want to go straight to construction, Bill Reid and his team worked with us to evaluate alternative configurations for our new kitchen, options for laundry rooms, bathrooms, and walk-in closets. This attention to the planning and design process helped ensure a smooth construction. We lived in our Los Altos home during construction, and RemodelWest was very accommodating of our needs - for instance by providing clean-room mats to help minimize tracking in dust to the portion of house we were living in. They also helped ensure that we had laundry facilities throughout the process, which we really appreciated. We had very few change orders, and RemodelWest was very accommodating regarding changing small things during construction without nickel and diming us. While RemodelWest is a bit on the expensive side, the end product looks wonderful, and we never experienced any of the horror stories that some of our friends and relatives went through when remodeling. We would definitely recommend RemodelWest and would work with them again ourselves.
